Buff?

Sorry, I am new I have looked all over the forums and the shops and found nothing to answer this.

Is there a way to remove the buffs? I just want to play the game and not out level the area. I just got to the area where I was learning how to get a little firebird mount then all the crazy buffs kicked in. No disrespect to anyone that enjoys those btw. I don't, I don't want a handout, I just want to play a game when I get home, with a good story and one that is more difficult than the others, so far this was looking like it.

By the way, I think the devs did a good job so far, the game is a lot of fun.

Once again, not ripping on anyone that enjoys the buffs every two weeks, I just don't. If there is an item I need to buy can someone tell me the name? Right-clicking the buff does not work. If not I will wait till the buffs disappear again, then try again.
