I was reading some patch notes (forgot which one) and it was mentioned that the Phantom skin wasn't supposed to be like that but.. isn't it cooler that way? If anything more mounts should be like that. The icey effect on skins makes it look like you know what mount is under the skin, but you still see the skin ultimately.. really nice effect. If this is changed then it'll look like you're just riding a plain ole skin like the other mounts. If anything, more mounts should have their own unique effects(heroic mounts only to make it a special effect; it would be lame for a casual elite mount's effects to be shown)shown through skins like Garme's chains or Agnas's spikes. I don't know I'm not able to think of unique characteristics off the top of my head but it would be way cooler like that, or at least I'd think.
