Auction house fees

So, in other games when your item thats posted time run outs.....you get the fee or maybe a partial amount of the fee back. That doesnt seem to be the case in this game. The 7 day duration ends and you still lose the fee. Now i understand if you cancel it early, but letting it stay put the entire 7 days and still losing it seems strange.

Its not a game breaker for me. If this is intended then its all good but i just wanted to ask the public if im missing something or not taking items that have not sold in their 7 day duration off the list correctly.
