Are all priests in this game "useless?"
Not necessarily useless, per se, but utterly, lazily, and grossly put together for people who enjoy playing healer classes(and are good at it). Every single MMO I've played, healers were the bread and butter of any group composition, even more so then the tanks! Good Healers could easily carry bad groups, and this is what I'm used to. But here? Lol, I also have a wizard and time and time again I hear the group say "Just get any healer and lets go" or something to that extent. No more "oh, that healer is Good, get them"! And when I say "good" I don't mean geared. Flashy +20 gear is a misconception and does not necessarily mean a player is "good". However, it can be a lot easier for a bad player to fool you into believing that they are "good" with said gear, but that's another story altogether.
But seriously, wouldn't it be silly if they made every Wizard do the same DPS as the next, no matter your gear? or the Tank have the exact same defenses as any other tank? I thought the point of being able to customize your character was to increase it's strengths and make them more viable. As it stands right now, Priest is the easiest dumbed down class to play and that's why every noob is one. This is usually the case in every game that allows a healer class, I know this, but at least there is a way to stand out from the rest.
So I ask, are there actually BAD healers in this game? Why is every healer the same as the next? nothing to set yourself apart from any old regular Joe. And don't get me started on the "raids" in this game, if you can even call them that...you can literally get any healer that is online at the time and do just fine. Why doesn't Intelligence OR Wisdom increase healing? Why do we have pretty much 1 skill that AoE heals everyone and that's it? It puts healers in a bad and lazy light and it's a good class for ineffective people to play in this game.
P.S - I love being 2 shot by Sins! Can't wait for the PvP!
