Getting anywhere being a casual player

Looking for some feedback and maybe some help. I love this game, however I work full time and only have time to play RoI only occasionally. However these days, I have noticed how far behind I am becoming. I really want to enjoy the game and get cool mounts and be a competitive player, however it seems that unless you either pay real money towards the game or play it hours a day, there is no way to obtain any strong items or any cool mounts. I have only a few heroics because they were given to me through daily rewards and such. I finally obtained two heroic marks that are from parnas coast. I was really excited to finally go tame them, but there are no players there. And clearly, I cannot battle the heroic by myself to lower its health enough to tame them. There is no one on party finder to help, and no guild wants me because I'm so weak. I can't get any legendary gear because I can't log in everyday, nor am I strong enough to do any dungeons that drop them alone. And I don't even know where to begin to ever get any of the newer heroics or ever get any legendary mount. I just love the idea of this game, and it's the only game I will play. I just wish my fun wasn't diminishing because of how far behind I am falling with no hope of catching up.

Are there any other casual players out there that have any advice for me?

What ever happened to past issues that said that they would get back to us on a fix?

1) Manastone battles (as of it is, it is still the SAME alliance winning and benefiting from the event)

2) Disbanding Alliance

3) Legendary Dungeons Feedback

4) Legendary Dungeons Drop Rates

5) Founder's Karios Mount

6) Making Tanks viable? Tanks & Healers at Field Bosses?


Can the community get an actual solution and response to the above problems before moving forward? Sure, new upcoming content is nice but more problems are going to pile up more if not properly addressed.

what is the point of karasha gear?

So very few people have karrasha gear still. most people only have the free one from the writs. Now in 2 weeks they are dropping a new level cap that increases to 50. karasha gear just released and nexon has been so stingy with it very few people have it. After a month of the content being out nexon decides to up the drop rate on it, that's great and everything but still the gear doesn't drop. So still no one has it. then no one can craft it because dragon essense doesn't drop.

so i'm just wondering why did they even make karasha gear if we will be getting a new +10 lvl cap. i'm sure new gear will be dropping. so why was impossibly discouraging to get gear even implemented at lvl 40.?

Hey all!

Just wanted to discuss/inform and well tell people of the situation ive seen today in icarus. Enjani, the new purchasable mount from the NX store is in-fact meant to be a tamable mount from the up coming area of "elloras sanctuary", is noone else pissed off about this? Nexon are now legit removing mounts from the game, our future game content and trying to make money off of it?

Unused legendary marks.

I tamed Ramphastos first try, so now i will have 6 marks with no use, the mount isn't very good and can't be sealed so i have no reason to get more, could we maybe trade the unused marks for some familiar seals for tempering or something? I just want to get something out of them instead of throwing them away.

Familiar Farm Adventure of a Different Kind

Had quite the experience today when trying to get to my familiar farm. I loaded in, disconnected, but had the connection protocol complete itself "successfully". And then I was flying around in the limbo version of Hakain's Crossing.
Anyone else experienced this? :P

Silver Laiku only for Newcomers Always?

The Silver Laiku has a cap of 35, the Golden 25. Yes I know I can get the Golden. However I am a collector too and this mount always seems to come up as a New / Returning Player mount reward from Crow, in the Week Specials Tab.

This isn't some exclusive founders mount (please no Blood Karios stuff here) it's simply a reward mount. However if you've played the game for a long time chances are you don't have this mount due to the reasons stated. We received Magma Hounds and Horsies and Lions from November that were available to gain ingame just like the Golden Laiku is obtainable ingame via collecting some of those same mounts.

I'd like to know why this particular mount is given out on a regular basis to new players while veterans never get a chance at it, not even as a monthly prize daily.

Nothing is selling and prices are being undercut so badly that people are losing a fortune on items that never sell. Legendary weapons are lower priced than I have seen so far. Even decent ones. How bout the GM's step in and buy a few things to make the economy look better.

December Reward Writs

With the new month comes new Reward Writs, and for this month, I feel pretty disappointed. I personally have tamed Calypto and Demonus, and worked extremely hard to get them. Handing them off (even though they are different, they are basically the same mount with a different name, and possibly different stats) this month kind of seems like a kick in the face; why work hard to get the legendary mounts (which are supposed to be rare and hard to get) when you could just save writs? I understand handing out maybe the occasional heroic mounts, but NOT the new legendary mounts.

Why is it bad to wanna spend 82€ on this game?(Thats what it would cost me atm to buy for my 2characters.)

Ranger and daily rewards.

So, I'd like to give the Leorid and the other daily rewards mounts to my upcoming ranger.
Except... I don't know if that's actually possible.
What if I don't click on the daily reward and just wait for the ranger to roll out? Will I get the subsequent rewards anyway as the days go by, or will the reward interface stop at the un-taken one?

Parties and Raids

So I've been doing a lot of Llc and CM with friends, and we're always a Party. And I know how to invite people to Parties, I've been doing that since I started Llc Elite, but I don't know how to start a Raid. There are actually a few things I don't really understand - first, how is a Raid different than a Party? And, how can I invite people to Raids, instead of Parties? Are Raids only for specific dungeons or mobs? Please help me!

How do you extract a Heroic Soul Crystal?

I have a "Heroic Magic Soul Crystal" in my weapon, it can't be extracted.

I've tried with a Heroic & Legendary Seal Extractor. It at first looks like its working, It even sounds like it extracts but nothing happens. The soul remains in my weapon.

Recommended Classes: All Classes
Battle Companion: All classes benefit from a higher HP pool and a lifesteal ability. The reduced skill cooldown is also a great perk for every rider.
Comes with the following skills:
Legendary Aura:
Provides resistance against all regional climate effects
One for All:
Level 1: Increase Health by 10%, Health Absorption Amount by 1%, Cooldown decreased by 3%
Level 40: Increase Health by 20%, Health Absorption Amount by 1%, Cooldown decreased by 3%
Spicy Bomb:
Throws a spicy bomb at nearby enemies. 400-450 Damage

Seal Stone result at level 40:
Health Absorption Chance: 1.40%
Health Absorption Amount: 0.30%
Critical Damage Defense: 141

Sooo It's the Health Absorption I'm confused about!?? What is it exactly. There's a similar skill on Lunafont, and I didn't get how that worked either.

First it says an Increase. Does that mean I need Health absorption first to gain any benefit?
Second, what is Health absorption? is it like when I hit something I gain health? Is it a shield of some sort? Absorbing damage done to me?
Lastly the seal stone result which is similar to Lunafont's ability. It states a chance for Health Absorption then an amount. Can these number be explained to me?
It states a chance at Health Absorption then an amount. Does the pet give a 100% chance at Health Absorption and give you 1% of that?

It's all very confusing, and I've looked but all I get on the internet is references to the Three Musketeers?

So I just left out of RoI form Bismuth.

There was a whole 3 person beat down going on ....................lol, not quite.
I saw the post on the party board and decided to check it out.
One poor little Sin and a priest, the priest only stayed for a minute.

I died from Bismuth one shotting me and had to fly back, still just one poor guy who was sitting on a rock healing.

So while cuddlewings gets the players who are not really qualified to write professional guides. Most of those are compilations of how a persons gear and stats look, not how one can achieve the same thing with the help of their tips or tricks, but I digress.

So Nexon or one of Nexons representatives want to comment on the state of the player base and what steps if any are being taken to stop the losses and get a player base which can actually accomplish some of these insane things your developers see as needing to happen for this game to succeed.

Oh that is right, even if you could save / rebuild the player base they still seem to reject things like this empty Bismuth Boss beat down. Anyone over at the company have any clue why that would be?? Have you listened to your player base or anything they have said??
