Taming idea?....maybe
Well i managed to ask some of my friends to play Riders of Icarus and they loved it for so far. But lately they stopped playing because of a tame attempt that failed and they putted al there money in those marks. i know, i told them "dont buy al the parts but try to gather all the stuff you need".
now my point:
why not make taming succesfull IF you do everything in a mini game correct. and if you miss tab a button you instantley fall of the familiar so you dont need luck in this game but skill. because its very irritating to know that 'hit it with a critical blow' or 'jump on it while it does not notice you' or 'lower familiar hp to have more CHANCE in taming it succesfully'. NOW I DONT WANT A CHANCE TO TAME THIS FAMILIAR. I WANT TO KNOW, THE INSTANT YOU JUMP ON IT WITH YOUR MARK EXPENSIVE LIKE A LIFE TIME VACATION, YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO TAME IT ONLY IF YOU DONT MESS IT UP. thats what a game is all about.....SKILL..... i know this does not change anything but i think this game should be more about skill than luck.

Spire monthly reward expires? =/
So apparently it expired out of my inventory. Why is this a thing? I didn't want to open it when I got it because I have a kid and didn't want to waste the time limited mask before I was able to actually play and utilize it but apparently they expire =( Why? I'd understand it expiring from the ellora's storage but it was in my inventory. I'm wicked bummed that this wasn't stated to me previously, to my knowledge, and all my rewards are now lost xP

Costumes over Ellora Spire's apparels
With the monthly rewards for the Ellora Spire rolled out this week, players who got themselves the Top 10 and given the Halcyon Outfit are almost compelled to wear the set for the huge boost and this prevents them from wanting to purchase current costumes or the upcoming costumes. We should have a system that allows us to override the outfit we want to appear as over outfits that have already got stats on them. Or simply make outfits we want used as "skins" and transfer stats from old to the new look.

1) Our alliance makes WB's every day, having done since the first day of the rangers fury patch release. We only managed, collecting on average 3 boxes per channel, about 15 skillbooks in total. We make all WB's of CW on all their channels, so I think the droprate is too low.
2) For people who can not do it or have never been able to pick up boxes in CW's WB's, the disadvantage is that Ellora spire is ridiculous, and the problem is worse in classes like Wizard, Zerk and Guardian, whose skill books provide a significant percentage Of essential attributes for the class.

GZ NEXON!!! BOTT FESTIVAL IN THE CAPITAL CITY!!!!
Nexon i think you are really idots. Until the update on 8th of feb. the capital is now a bott city. Every 2nd player stays here with skript to farming that facking chocklade. Over hours! And then they buy elluns for that. you can collect 400 chocklade in on hour. that means you can buy EVERY hour 40 of ELUNs. When a botter or skripter stays 8 hours over night in the city they can make 500 Elluns per night. Change this or i auto report all of that every night!!!

Bound Marks Can't Be Used for Tolus Mark?
So I received a Daveen's Perfume from a heroic box and I figured that I mind as well use it for crafting the Tolus Mark, since it's otherwise useless for me to tame Garme. Turns out, you can't use bound marks to craft a recipe. I don't know why it's not allowed, as it's not like I'm selling or trading the mark to other players. If I can't use this bound Daveen's Perfume for the recipe, it basically forces me to throw it away because I have no other use for it.

Not Everyone is Botting
I just posted this over in another thread, but I think that I also want to put this out there in General Chat so that more people can see it.
Again just wanted to put it out there!
Yeah, I would be hesitant to assume everyone is botting. I personally can attest to the fact that while it might seem like it, it could just be a human pressing those buttons. If you can find any free space, just try it out. It gets really repetitive after a while, so you start thinking of ways to make things go faster. And then other people try to KS you, so you have to find a way to kill things faster, and yadda yadda yadda.I got really good at farming them really quick - sometimes, it even felt like I was botting. Not even kidding. My Whirlwind Spear cooldown happened to be almost the exact same as the respawn, at 50% CDR. I would stand with my back to 1 spawning spot, use Whirlwind on a mount as soon as it came off of CD (which I timed to be as the mob spawned), then started firing my crossbow at another nearby spot. The other spot would spawn soon after, and my crossbow would auto-lock and 1-shot it if I aimed it right.
Basically, I did this for 30+ minutes to get all my 400 really quickly. I actually was worried a little bit because I thought that a GM might assume I was using a bot, because that's how mechanical it eventually became.
Moral of the story - farming these things is easy af, and repetitive. Some people might be botting, but I would assume the majority are actually just that good, because it doesn't take much skill.
Again just wanted to put it out there!

Elloras Spire ... LADDER?
I was pleased at first to see a solo dungeon instance, because I don't have time or patience for a "real" guild and I get sick and tired of seeing the same handful of people over and over and over and over getting all the legendary drop and tames in the game, so I thought I finally have this chance to get decent gear on my own equal to everybody elses chance of getting decent loot from this dungeon. I really thought this was going to be a reasonable way for people who don't have the time or a readily available group to do legendary runs to still be able to eventually build up decent equipment.

THEN I SAW THE LADDER. Are you kidding me? Who do you think is going to be getting the 600 ellun packs and the other OP rewards etc for the Weekly and Monthly things??
The same handful of people who have all day everyday and already have fully leveled and tempered gear and already have a ton of gold from selling extra gear for 100-1000G each on broker, NOT the guys who do solo instances because that's what they can fit in their schedule and playstyle. It is not even divided perhaps by class. So a guardian has the same chance as a priest as a wizard as a ranger to get to the top of the ladders?? Please.
This game is good in its basic design, but the dev decisions for player reward vs time spent are really inexplicable at times and I think this has to change FAST or die.
My one run as a priest resulted in some bandages, a coin, and a copper ingot. Thanks so very much for the kick I needed to spend more time and my money on the rest of my life.

Anyone else getting that Game is in Maintenance?
Every time I try and login from the Launcher I get a message pop up that says it is in Maintenance "Please try again later"! I thought it was done yesterday? Are the servers down for an emergency patch or something? Would be nice if there was some info on it if they are.....just saying

Heroic Bestiary Mount Scroll

Wow! I remember this being suggested a couple of months ago. Thanks again to all mods, dev team and Nexon for listening to our feedback and suggestions.
I just have a couple of questions regarding the Heroic Bestiary Mount Scroll. According to the description "this item cannot be used on pets that cannot normally be tamed in the world (ex: pets from Tritael Rift Pet Lucky Box)", but what does that mean exactly? For example, if I have a pet Diaguul, which is an Ellora's Store exclusive not available anywhere in the world, will the scroll turn it back into a mount or it literally just work for mounts/pets tamable in the world?
Also, it has "bestiary" in the name. Does it mean that if, for example, buy a sealed Femuto, extract it into a lvl 1 pet and turn it back into a mount with the scroll it'll add it's entry in my bestiary? Or will it just become a mount and I'd still have to tame one to get it's bestiary entry?
Any help answering those questions would be extremely appreciated, @Cream and @Cuddlewings :)

1 - As long as the pet has a mount form, like Diaguul or Enjani for example, the scroll will turn them back into mounts even if the text is a bit confusing.
2 - Yes, as of now the scroll DO unlock the bestiary entry for familiars tamable within the world.
The discussion now is on whether the bestiary should or should not unlock bestiary entries for familiars tamable within the world. In my personal opinion, I think they should NOT unlock entries. The main point of the game is to tame familiars and if unlocking thos entries is too easy, the game might lose it's appeal. I also agree by limiting the scroll by level, as suggested by @Yllmathir and @Cream. Quote from @Cream below:

How to pass steam to nexon client ?
If you are playing on steam and wish to use nexon launcher without downloading game :
* Download nexon launcher and open it
* Select icarus and select a path to install it
* Allow it to create the 2 folders "appdata" and "patchdata" or create "appdata" folder by yourself. Cancel / Stop downloading. Close nexon launcher
* Find the path of steam icarus game folder. It will consist [ Bin32,Bin64,Engine,Game... folders]
* Copy all these folders into appdata folder of nexon launcher
* Open nexon launcher again, select icarus and allow it to update game
* If your steam client was updated this will completed in secs..
Thats all :)))
* Download nexon launcher and open it

Lair of Ienos
10x I have entered the lair of Ienos 9 of those 10 only elite familiars were there, the last time I entered there was Frost and Canniphrage. So I set my sites on Canniphrage, taking his health down to almost killing him, then attempt to tame. My character is level 39, 4 attempts and all were fails, really this is why this game sucks balls, 10x complete heroic Frost keep 10x enter lair of Ienos and 10x come out with nothing. Total waste of time, yet again.
