What is the best place to farm for these things? I'm level 60, I've been trying to kill easy to kill mobs but they aren't dropping. So I'm wondering if it is better to kill things close to my level...and if so, what is the best place for a lvl 60 to get these things? I need to increase my bartering level to 5 and a recipe calls for that. Making marks for familiars seems like they would take ages...So I need to master two items that don't use heroic mount seals and having to have 10 people kill a specific mount to make his mark.

the chat system is to restrictive. In all honesty I know of no mmo that has such a time limit of mega phones/ global chat. Especially when you have to pay for them. And even then your unable to link items or have a very lengthy conv. this prevents 0 gold spammers because 1 you charge for them. 2 your one of the only economies where your commerence beats gold sellers. That being said please allow the community to communicate. This is a great hurt because it effects trade as well as ability to start parties. Sure if you want to go with the limited party board you can. However its still restricted speech. Lets have a game where we can chat!

I need sparknotes for the plot of this game
Spoiler warning, by the very nature of the thread.
I made it to the start of the Akrat Plains on my last character before switching to a different class. I figured that even though I was sort of vague on the story the first time around, it would make more sense the second time because I already knew what was going to happen.
No dice.
Who or what is Khabim? Who is Salant? Why is Rondo evil (and why is he obsessed with ice or something)? Why do all three of them go missing after the first act? Is everybody working for the God of Ruin, Z-whatever? Why do they keep tossing the princess between them like a hot potato? Why are there so many organized factions devoted to general mayhem? Why is the PC charged with finding the princess and then immediately sent to the Highlands to do random fetch quests? Why does the king have to pretend to dislike us? Who's Yulnus, and what does he actually do such that we go talk to him every once in a while? How come we stopped reporting in to Crow after about the Sea of Hakanas and just kinda wandered around on our own? Is Rondo the princess's boyfriend? If so, what's wrong with him? Actually, if not, what's wrong with him anyway? Are we supposed to be part of the Dragon Knights or Onyx Order or what? Why do we care about things like the Merumi faction split when there are clearly people already there and handling it, or at least not letting the situation actively degrade? Who's Radan? What's making the bad Merumi go nuts? Who is that guy who almost kills you at the end of the Fortress of Sorrows? Are "chaos" and "ruin" supposed to be interchangeable when it comes to the names of things? Why is pretty much everywhere an ongoing war zone, and if it's not supposed to be, why are all these things happening at once? Is Lania basically incapacitated for all of this or is she just useless? Did Rondo know about the plan to resurrect Zelarius or whatever his name is, or are they two different groups? If he didn't know, what did he want out of it? Did we kill him at the end of Parna's Coast? Why does he exist, story-wise? What do Carleon Manor or Lavalight Cave have to do with saving Princess Lania? If the answer is "nothing" then why did we do it? Do any of the bad guys have an actual motive aside from "we're evil bwahaha"?
I know this isn't a lore-heavy game, but. What is even going on. I can't tell if there's any place to find this information in the game, either.

Guilds and Experience 101
Ok, so does anyone have any tips on getting into a guild? I know I'm still a pretty new player but I was wondering if anyone had any tips to get into some of the big guilds?
So far I have had a problem with my Exp I don't have the gear to do the side quests to level up since I'm really squishy but I can't grind the gear because I'm too squishy for the dungeons even though I currently have the gear from the last dungeon I was able to solo. There aren't enough parties about so I am in a bit of a tough spot, my levelling has kind of died a bit...
I did hear that guilds can help you get through levelling and generally help you out but no one wants me... .-.
Any tips?

Is there a way to lock mounted camera distance?
Every time I get on my pegasus, the camera zooms out to a ridiculous degree. I like it much closer, and I wish the game would remember that. Is there a way to make that happen or will I just have to keep scrolling back in? I don't remember this being a problem before, weirdly enough.

Jolly Holiday Package and Weapon Skin
Hi just wanted to say that the weapon skin and costume package has been missing from the event shop. Even though it should have been there till Jan. 11th. Just wondering if im the only one that noticed it. Seeing how the ones available through the even have stats. Which is very helpful to new players.

I'm Done. No More Riding For Me.
I'm quitting this game.
Its just too difficult to get ahead. I am so frustrated that I can't better myself unless I have a bucket load of gold (which I don't)
The game itself is fantastic. The reward system however fails. Far too little for the effort you put in let alone the time factor.
The gear I get from leveling that is provided in the gift packages isn't good enough. I have premium god forbid how much worse it is for those that do not have premium
if I can't rub 2 pennies together.
My biggest moan is not being able to craft gear that can help me beat up these mobs easier so that I don't have to spend every dime I do make on food and pots.
These mobs hit me hard no matter what class I've played I am really struggling.
I have to eat after every damn kill. Do you know just how much slower that makes the leveling process.?
I can't afford to craft,buy or put anything on the AH because of the system that is in this game that doesn't help a new player that has nothing.
They need to better the currency rewards greatly. But I can't see it happening.(I'm speaking from a new player perspective)
If I had to get to max level before I was to reap any rewards and start making gold seriously then that is flawed game design.
I made it to level 40 and its been a battle to continue since 30-35 - I've always been a crafter in any game I played and the fact I just couldn't
afford to do that because of the crappy reward system was like kicking me while I was down.
Its a shame because I would of liked to experience end game but I just can't put myself through the pain of slow grind leveling for rewards that bearly cover the costs of dire wounds.
So long Riders. The journey was hell. LOL
